“This is downtown area, this is downtown. Sometimes I come to downtown visit some bar. Ya I just take the bus to go to the bar have some drinks but nothing to do, no fun. So this is very simple life. . . Ya this is my life it’s very simple and just sometimes I just you know in my house I just phone call to you know go back to Calgary, visit [my family in] Calgary. . . Actually, I used to see them once every two weeks because very expensive to fly you know. I take my company’s chartered plane but it is still expensive.”

“I feel that economic pressure and I’m trying to make my life, how can I say, a little positive. Try to make life positive and how can I say healthy here…positive, healthy and not get sick of the loneliness. I try to make myself healthy here so I need to support life but life here is not colourful it’s a little bit grey.”
